    Our client, a Multinational Company leader in Pharma & Healthcare, is looking a New Position based in Madrid. Business Role: Provide timely and accurate reporting in accordance with both local regulations (legal entity reporting) and US GAAP requirements. This position is also responsible to ensure that bookkeeping is in accordance with local regulations and Corporate Policies and Procedures. RESPONSABILITIES General Accounting Portugal Oversees financial and accounting processes to ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles/Standards and ethical standards with unyielding integrity. Supports the Country Controller with independent auditors and audit-related accounting matters. Manages administration of accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control accounting, payroll, and local tax payments (depending on scope of position determined by the size of the business unit) Oversees month end close process to ensure timely close and financial reports preparation. Taxation Portugal Payment and calculation of all local taxes. Maintains of all substantiation records for tax. Assists with external auditors to ensure audit compliance. Controls & Compliance Policies Ensures all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System. In the development and carrying-out of inventory control procedures, including physical stock-take, audit and control of both warehouse and hospital consignment inventory. To maintain proper inventory reserves for Excess, Expired and Obsolete Inventory. Treasury: Handles bank administration, funds transfers and foreign exchange dealings under the direction of Corporate Treasury and Country Controller. Balance Sheet and Assets Management - Works with the Country Controller To achieve effective balance sheet and assets management. To develop and maintain credit and collection policies, procedures and processes for effective AR management. To co-ordinate effective cash management and cash forecasting to ensure smooth cash flows for business operations while maintaining a minimum idle cash balance. Maintains asset register to well keep track on and safeguard company assets. Quality Provides input to the Quality committee in finance specific local issues, with the purpose of wither finding a solution form other countries experiences or providing advice on potential barriers for other countries and local regulations. Drives compliance in all finance related matters (CA&C, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing). Participates in implementing Quality requirements in all aspects of the Finance Process.

In addition, She/He will supervise a team of 3 Senior HR. The role is responsible for driving forward a range of HR activities, focused in Payroll, & Labour Relations, as well as Recruitment, C&B, and Performance Management MAIN RESPONSABILITIES To ensure that contracts of employment are prepared in line with employment legislation and ensure the induction process is set in motion.
